Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is making efforts to correct the current controversy about his aping a character in the blockbuster Kantara, a Kannada film. The event has elicited anger among moviegoers of the movie especially in Karnataka where the movie has been a great success and has great cultural importance. Many people felt that Ranveer was disrespectful to the film and the lead character through his mimicry which sparked much controversy.


As part of his efforts to make amends, Ranveer has decided to file a revised apology in the Karnataka High Court. The actor has shown remorse of the incident and intends to assure his fans in the state that he had no intention to offend anyone.
