Actor Sreeleela has proved that with dedication and discipline, anything is possible. After balancing a busy film career and medical studies for six years, she has finally graduated with a medical degree from DY Patil University in Mumbai. Pictures and videos from her convocation ceremony on February 10 are now going viral on social media, and fans are extremely proud of her achievement.

Sreeleela was seen wearing maroon robes at her graduation ceremony as she went on stage to receive her degree. In one of the viral pictures, she is smiling while accepting her certificate. In another video, she can be seen standing in line with other students before her name is called.

As soon as she received her degree, she hugged her family members emotionally. One more video shows her and her classmates taking a modern version of the Hippocratic Oath. When it was announced that they are officially doctors from the class of 2020, Sreeleela cheered happily with her friends.

Fans were shocked and impressed at how she managed both acting and studying medicine at the same time. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Sometimes we can’t even score pass marks… how did she manage studying and completing medicine while doing movies?” Another user commented, “How on earth can somebody complete MBBS so easily? She must be really brilliant.”

Some fans also mentioned that she adopted three children while managing her career and studies. “Kudos Dr Sreeleela,” wrote many users. Another fan commented, “Cinema shoots, tight schedules, public life… and still completing medical graduation? That takes next-level discipline.”

Sreeleela was born in 2001 to a Telugu family in Detroit, USA, and was brought up in Bengaluru. Her mother, Swarnalatha, is a gynaecologist based in Bengaluru. She started her acting journey in 2017 with the Telugu film Chitrangada. Her debut as a lead actor was in the Kannada film Kiss (2019).

She made her Telugu debut as a lead in Pelli SandaD in 2021 and later appeared in films like Dhamaka, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Guntur Kaaram. She also featured in the special song Kissamik from Pushpa 2: The Rule. In 2025, she starred in Telugu films Robinhood, Junior, and Mass Jathara.

This year, she made her Tamil debut with Parasakthi and is preparing for her Hindi debut in an Anurag Basu film opposite Kartik Aaryan. She also has Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan and a film with Dhanush and Sai Pallavi lined up.
