Kangana Ranaut has never been one to mince her words, and her outspoken nature has often placed her at the centre of Bollywood’s most talked-about debates. One such moment resurfaced online when the actress openly warned filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga against casting her in any of his films, a statement that quickly went viral for its sharp wit and unapologetic tone.

The moment dates back to an interaction where Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for films like Kabir Singh and Animal, had expressed his interest in collaborating with Kangana Ranaut someday. Kangana’s response, however, left little room for ambiguity.

She quipped, “Don’t ever give me any role, otherwise your alpha male heroes will become feminists.”

The remark instantly caught public attention and became a trending quote across social media platforms. While some fans applauded Kangana’s boldness and saw the comment as a direct critique of hyper-masculine narratives in mainstream cinema, others felt it was a deliberately provocative jab aimed at Vanga’s filmmaking style.

Kangana Ranaut has consistently challenged the dominance of so-called “alpha male” characters in Bollywood. Over the years, she has advocated for stronger female representation and has often spoken against creative patterns that prioritise male power while sidelining women’s perspectives. Her statement to Vanga reflected this long-standing stance and highlighted the ideological difference between her worldview and the filmmaker’s cinematic sensibilities.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s films have frequently sparked debate for their portrayal of intense masculinity and polarising gender dynamics especiall with his last film Animal starrin g Ranbir Kapoor. And right now he is gearing up for Spirit that is slated to release starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, which yet looks like another upgraded version of Animal and Kabir Singh.
