Social media sensation Monalisa Bhosle, who went viral during the Kumbh Mela for her striking kohl-lined eyes, has reportedly married her boyfriend Farsan Khan amid strong opposition from her family. The couple is said to have tied the knot at a police station before later visiting a temple to complete the ceremony.
According to reports, Monalisa and Farsan first connected on Facebook nearly a year and a half ago. What started as an online friendship gradually turned into a serious relationship. However, their interfaith relationship allegedly faced resistance from Monalisa’s family, prompting the couple to leave their hometown and move to Kerala.
The couple recently approached the Thampanoor Police Station in Thiruvananthapuram, seeking protection after claiming they feared threats due to family opposition. Reports suggest the police have provided assistance and are monitoring the situation, though no formal complaint has been registered so far.
Monalisa, who gained immense attention online and was even offered film opportunities after her viral fame, has reportedly told authorities that she is not interested in pursuing a movie career right now. Instead, she wishes to live a peaceful life with the person she loves.
