Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently found themselves at the center of an overwhelming fan frenzy during their visit to Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The couple, who marked one month since their wedding on March 26, had travelled to the city while shooting for their upcoming film Ranabaali.

Their day began on a spiritual note as they visited a Hanuman temple before heading to the film set. Dressed in simple traditional outfits, Vijay in a cream kurta and Rashmika in a blue suit the duo greeted fans warmly, smiling and waving as they received flowers and blessings. However, what started as a celebratory outing quickly turned chaotic as the crowd grew thicker.

Videos circulating online show the situation intensifying as fans surged forward, trying to get closer to the actors. In those moments, Vijay’s protective instinct was clearly visible. He held Rashmika close, positioning himself between her and the crowd while their security team struggled to maintain distance. At one point, Rashmika was seen clutching Vijay’s waist as they carefully navigated through the sea of people.

As they exited the temple after receiving blessings, the crowd only swelled further. Vijay stayed close behind Rashmika, shielding her from the pushing crowd while ensuring she made it safely to their car. Brief glimpses of concern crossed his face as the situation nearly spiraled into a mob-like scenario, but the couple managed to leave without any harm.

Despite the overwhelming experience, Vijay and Rashmika appeared composed soon after. They proceeded to the Ranabaali set, where they were welcomed with a traditional harathi ceremony. Women greeted them warmly, applying kumkum on their foreheads as part of the ritual. In a quieter moment that followed, Rashmika was seen looking up at Vijay with a smile, an intimate exchange that didn’t go unnoticed.

Ranabaali marks the third collaboration between the two actors after their successful films Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). It is also their first project together after tying the knot earlier this year in Udaipur. The film is slated for a theatrical release on September 11.
