Tips Films has officially announced a new release date for its much-anticipated romantic entertainer Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The film will now release in theatres worldwide on June 12, 2026, a week later than its earlier scheduled date of June 5.

Directed by veteran filmmaker David Dhawan, the movie promises a lively mix of romance, humour, and youthful energy. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde in lead roles and is already generating strong buzz among fans.

Confirming the change, Ramesh Taurani, Managing Director of Tips Films, explained that the decision was taken after carefully considering recent developments in the industry.

In a statement, Taurani said that the film was initially planned for release on June 5, a date announced months earlier. However, after evaluating the current situation, the makers felt it would be more appropriate to shift the release.

He also emphasised the importance of cooperation within the film industry, stating that it is healthier for filmmakers to support each other rather than compete unnecessarily on the same release date. With that in mind, the team decided to move the film’s release by a week.
