Trisha Krishnan has finally reacted to the ongoing rumours surrounding her personal life and career, firmly denying reports that she is quitting films amid speculation about her alleged relationship with Vijay.
The rumours began after actor-journalist Chithra Lakshmanan claimed that Trisha might be stepping away from acting, pointing out that she hasn’t signed any new projects recently. However, Trisha was quick to shut down the speculation with a witty response on social media. She wrote, “Apparently I’ve quit films, married a rich business man and I’m raising quadruplets who turned two yesterday! Anything else I should add or did we cover today’s fiction quota?”
The chatter around her personal life intensified after a cryptic post she shared about love, along with earlier rumours linking her to a businessman. Addressing those claims at the time, she had sarcastically remarked, “I love when people plan my life for me. Just waiting for them to plan the honeymoon too.”
Despite the ongoing gossip, Trisha continues to stay focused on her work. She began her career after winning the Miss Chennai pageant in 1999 and went on to become one of the most popular actresses in South Indian cinema. Over the years, she has delivered several hit films, including Ghilli, Athadu, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, and Khatta Meetha.
She was last seen in multiple 2025 releases and still has several projects lined up, including Karuppu, Vishwambhara, and Ram. While her personal life continues to make headlines, Trisha has made it clear that the rumours about her quitting films are completely unfounded.
