However, the absence of his estranged wife Sangeetha Sornalingam and their children, Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha, quickly became one of the biggest talking points online.

Amid ongoing speculation around Vijay’s personal life and reported divorce proceedings, several old interviews and family moments involving his son Jason Sanjay have resurfaced on social media. Reports claimed that Jason skipped the swearing-in ceremony and had earlier unfollowed his father on Instagram, sparking further discussions about the family’s strained equation.

At the same time, fans have also been revisiting Vijay’s earlier statements about fatherhood and his bond with Jason. In one resurfaced interview, Vijay had spoken warmly about his son’s future and ambitions, expressing hopes that Jason would carve his own path rather than live under his father’s shadow.
