Punjabi singer Talwiinder has finally reacted to the dating rumours linking him with Bollywood actor Disha Patani after a video of the two went viral last month.
The rumours started when Talwiinder and Disha were spotted chilling together at Nupur Sanon’s wedding where several celebrities were present. The clip quickly grabbed attention online not just because of the alleged romance but also because it revealed Talwiinder’s face which he had earlier kept hidden using paint. Later the buzz grew stronger when the duo were seen walking hand-in-hand at Lollapalooza making fans believe that the relationship was official.
However, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India Talwiinder clarified his bond with Disha and addressed the rumours head-on. Talking about their equation, he shared that they had only just met before the wedding and were surprised by the sudden attention. He said that both of them did not want to give in to pressure or rumours and are still discovering themselves. Talwiinder added that he prefers to let rumours remain rumours instead of reacting to them.
The singer also opened up about his love for Bollywood music and whether he sees himself working more in the film industry. Talwiinder revealed that Bollywood music played a huge role in his life while growing up especially during the years when music was his only companion. He named singers like Mohit Chauhan, KK, Kailash Kher and Arijit Singh as major inspirations behind his musical taste.
While he admitted his admiration for Bollywood Talwiinder made it clear that entering the film industry is not his ultimate goal. According to him, music and films naturally come together and he prefers collaborations that happen organically rather than chasing projects. He also shared that he likes understanding the mood and emotion of a scene before composing music for it as it helps him create something meaningful.
For now, Talwiinder seems focused on his music journey choosing to stay calm amid relationship rumours and letting things unfold naturally, both personally and professionally.
