Writer and producer Shaheen Bhatt, daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, is officially engaged to her boyfriend Ishaan Mehra. She shared the happy news on Instagram with a series of adorable pictures, including one where she proudly flaunted her engagement ring.

In the photos, Shaheen is seen sharing warm moments with Ishaan, resting her head on his shoulder and smiling for the camera. Captioning the post, she wrote, “We may have overdone this whole liking each other thing.”

Her sister, actor Alia Bhatt, couldn’t hold back her emotions and reshared the post, writing, “Currently weeping (crying face emoticons).” Several celebrities also joined in to congratulate the couple. Parineeti Chopra commented, “The Unbreakable Vow!” while Zoya Akhtar wrote, “Congos and bongos.” Ananya Panday added, “Shaheeeeen! Soooo happy for you (red heart emoticons) all the love and joy in the world.”

Shaheen had made her relationship with Ishaan public last year and has since shared glimpses of their time together, including vacations and candid moments.

On the professional front, Shaheen is stepping into production with her upcoming project Don’t Be Shy!, which she is co-producing with Alia under their banner Eternal Sunshine Productions. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for her next release, Alpha.
