Romantic film lovers have a special reason to smile this Valentine’s season as Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, is all set to re-release in theatres. The film, which was one of the biggest hits of last year, will once again hit the big screens ahead of Valentine’s Day, giving fans a chance to relive the magic of love, music, and heartbreak.

Although Yash Raj Films (YRF), the producers of Saiyaara, have not made an official announcement yet, the film’s showtimes are already visible on BookMyShow. According to the listings, Saiyaara will be screened in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune during Valentine’s Week. This has created excitement among fans, especially couples and young audiences who connected deeply with the film.

Released in July last year, Saiyaara became a massive success at the box office. The musical romantic drama earned an impressive ₹577 crore worldwide, making it the second-highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. It also created history by becoming the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema. The film’s success proved that love stories still hold a special place in the hearts of audiences.

The movie starred newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in lead roles. Saiyaara marked Ahaan’s Bollywood debut, while Aneet, who was earlier seen in Salaam Venky alongside Kajol, made her first appearance as a lead actress. Both actors received huge appreciation for their performances, and the film turned them into overnight stars, especially among the youth.

Saiyaara tells the story of Krish, a struggling musician, and Vaani Batra, a budding journalist and poet. Their love story faces several emotional challenges, and the film focuses on how they deal with heartbreak, dreams, and personal growth. The chemistry between the lead pair and the soulful music played a major role in the film’s popularity.

Several Bollywood celebrities praised the film after its release. Filmmaker Karan Johar called Saiyaara the best film of Mohit Suri’s career and showered praise on both debut actors for their emotional performances.

For those who missed watching it in theatres or want to experience it again on the big screen, Saiyaara’s re-release makes Valentine’s Week even more special. The film is also currently available to stream on Netflix.
