Rashmika Mandanna has issued a strong statement warning of legal action against individuals, influencers, and media platforms circulating what she described as a leaked private conversation from nearly eight years ago.

In a detailed post shared on social media, the actor claimed she has been facing misinformation, harassment, and targeted attacks for the past eight years, alleging that her words were repeatedly taken out of context to build false narratives.

Mandanna stated that an old private conversation was allegedly recorded and circulated without the consent of those involved, with only a small portion being shared publicly to create controversy. According to her, the timing of the circulation appears to coincide with recent developments in her personal life.

The actor also expressed disappointment that the controversy has dragged her family and people close to her into discomfort, calling it a serious invasion of privacy and the spread of misleading and defamatory content.

Despite the ongoing criticism over the years, Mandanna said she had chosen patience and silence, accepting that being in the public eye often comes with unfair scrutiny. However, she said the recent developments had crossed a line.

She has now asked media platforms, influencers, and individuals circulating the content or related narratives to remove them within 24 hours, warning that failing to do so would lead to legal notices and further action in accordance with applicable law.

Calling the move necessary, Mandanna concluded that she is now choosing to “draw a boundary” after years of remaining silent.
