Rashmika Mandanna was caught on camera wearing her mangalsutra (thali) and sindoor (vermilion) and hand in hand with her husband Vijay Deverakonda on a traditional date in his hometown in Telangana. The newly-wed couple seemed to be very relaxed and happy as they attended traditional post-marriage ceremonies in Thummanpet in Nagarkurnool district, and fans and local well-wishers were in numbers to see them.
The appearance of Rashmika was a combination of power and tradition that could be explained by the wearing of the beige printed saree with a bright red border, her hair in curls, and the presence of gold chains and the mangalsutra, which is the traditional bridal look. Vijay followed her in a white floral printed kurta with fresh pyjamas as well, which I suppose was suitable to both the celebratory and peaceful atmosphere of the visit.

The village visit was one of the various traditional ceremonies that the couple had to go through after their own wedding ceremony which was attended by close friends and family members within the state of Rajasthan. They also conducted Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham and gruhapravesam (the house-entering ritual) in their new residence in Thummanpet in the middle of the trip because it is a usual ritual in most Indian marriages marking the start of a common life. They were greeted by music and blessings by locals, which made the surroundings of the arrival of the couple quite festive.
After their marriage, Rashmika and Vijay have maintained the public appearance culture that has cultural connotations such as visiting the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), in Hyderabad where they offered sweets to the devotees. Photos and videos of these interactions have been very widespread on social media, a sign of the way they have taken on the traditions, as well as an expression of the warm reception of the fans.
Their marriage ceremony will be followed up with a big invite-only wedding in Hyderabad on March 4 which is likely to be attended by major film industry and other personages.
