After rewriting box-office history with its first chapter, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is officially on its way. Jio Studios and B62 Studios have unveiled the teaser of the second instalment, and it signals a far more intense and emotionally charged journey ahead.
The teaser opens a window into the haunting past of Ranveer Singh’s character, revealing the man he was before becoming the feared Hamza. Once known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, the teaser hints at a life-altering transformation shaped by loss, betrayal, and an unrelenting thirst for justice. The shift is stark, unsettling, and deliberately mysterious, leaving viewers with more questions than answers.
Unlike the first film, which established scale and spectacle, Dhurandhar: The Revenge appears to dig deeper into the emotional anatomy of its protagonist. The teaser suggests that Jaskirat’s descent into Hamza is not just about vengeance, but also about duty, sacrifice, and protecting the nation at immense personal cost. His infiltration into dangerous criminal networks seems driven as much by pain as by purpose.
Visually, the teaser maintains a grim and menacing tone. Ranveer Singh’s physicality, controlled rage, and chilling presence underline a character shaped by circumstances beyond redemption. His transformation feels earned, rooted in a past that the film promises to unpack with greater depth.
Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, and written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, the Dhurandhar franchise continues to expand its universe with ambition and scale. After the first film shattered records and dominated theatres, expectations from the sequel are naturally sky-high.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set for a worldwide theatrical release on 19 March 2026, arriving in five languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the film promises a high-octane spy-action thriller that leans heavily into character, consequence, and confrontation.
If Dhurandhar was the declaration of a new force in Hindi cinema, Dhurandhar: The Revenge positions itself as the reckoning that follows—darker, deeper, and far more dangerous.
