The internet is once again buzzing with conversations around Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina, as fresh videos and a recent comedy special have brought their equation back into the spotlight.

On Saturday, Ranveer was spotted in a candid interaction with paparazzi, where he appeared in a light-hearted mood. In a video shared online, when a photographer praised him for being grounded, Ranveer playfully responded by asking to be called “funny” instead. Keeping the banter going, he added, “Hum dono ka samay chal raha hai “.

However, when the paparazzo casually mentioned Samay Raina, Ranveer responded with a cheeky remark, “Samay… kaun Samay? Kya Samay? (Samay, who Samay?) Humara time. It’s our time, my time is now.”

In another interaction, Ranveer spoke about positivity and humour, saying, “Tareefein toh sunai de rahi hain… tareef hum tak pahunch jati hai. Jitni zyada positivity aap andar rakhoge, utni zyada aap attract karte ho. Main bohot ‘mazaak kiya’ bhi hoon… good sense of humour. Smile karte rehna chahiye.”

His comments come shortly after Samay Raina’s latest comedy special Still Alive, where the comedian addressed their past controversy in his signature humorous style. Talking about the backlash surrounding the show, Samay said, “Mera poora mental health kharab kardi usne, usko toh meditation bhi aata hai, kuch bhi nahi aata mujhe toh.” He also jokingly referred to Ranveer as “the monk who sold my Ferrari.”

The remarks trace back to last year’s controversy during India’s Got Latent, where Ranveer Allahbadia, along with Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija, appeared on the panel. A particular question by Ranveer involving ‘parents and sex’ drew heavy backlash online, leading to multiple FIRs being filed against those involved.

While Ranveer later issued a public apology, the situation escalated to the point where Samay Raina removed all episodes of the show from YouTube. The controversy had a significant impact on everyone involved, with Apoorva Mukhija later revealing she even received death threats during that phase.

In March, the court allowed Ranveer to resume his podcast, while Apoorva also made her return to YouTube. Meanwhile, fans had been eagerly waiting for Samay’s comeback, and his Still Alive special has since received a positive response.

With both Ranveer and Samay now addressing the situation in their own ways—one through humour, the other through positivity—the conversation has once again taken over social media. Whether it’s banter or buried tension, the internet certainly isn’t done talking about it yet.
