Speculation around casting changes in Ramayana sparked fresh chatter after reports claimed Raghav Juyal had replaced Vikrant Massey in the upcoming Ranbir Kapoor starrer. The buzz didn’t sit well with Vikrant, who quickly took to social media to set the record straight.
In a strongly worded note, Vikrant clarified that he was never associated with the film. He wrote, “OK. To put things to rest, I was never a part of this movie. Am not, never was. Such irresponsible media coverage from ‘respectable’ media houses is kinda appalling. Nonetheless, wishing everyone on Ramayana all the very best. Will surely buy a ticket and watch it in cinemas.” The actor, however, deleted the post within minutes, further fuelling curiosity around the issue.

The clarification comes at a time when Vikrant has already been in the news for announcing a brief break from acting, citing exhaustion and the need to reset. Meanwhile, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana continues to remain one of the most discussed projects, with casting updates and rumours drawing constant attention. The film features Yash as Raavan, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Sunny Deol as Hanuman in the film.
