Rajpal Yadav recently opened up about an interesting incident from his career, revealing how he missed the opportunity to be a part of Om Shanti Om, starring Shah Rukh Khan.

The actor shared that he was initially considered for a role in the film, but things didn’t go as planned due to a misunderstanding. At the time, neither he nor Shah Rukh Khan was fully aware of what had actually happened.

Rajpal explained that somewhere along the way, incorrect information about him was passed on. He was unintentionally portrayed in a negative light, which led to confusion. It eventually appeared as if he had declined the film or wasn’t interested in being a part of it—something he insists was far from the truth.

He revealed that he only came to know about the situation much later, during the shoot of another film, when someone brought it up. Curious to understand what went wrong, he looked into the matter and realised that it was simply a case of miscommunication.

Despite the mix-up, Rajpal clarified that there has never been any personal issue between him and Shah Rukh Khan. In fact, when the two eventually met, they interacted warmly, as if nothing had ever happened.

The actor also pointed out that such situations are quite common in the film industry, where small misunderstandings can sometimes lead to missed opportunities.

Looking back, Rajpal holds no grudges. Instead, he views the incident as just another chapter in his journey—one that could have changed things, but ultimately became a story he now shares with perspective and acceptance.
