Priyanka Chopra Jonas is sending waves of excitement through Bollywood with fresh hints about revisiting two of her most iconic franchises — Don and Krrish — just as she prepares to make a long-awaited return to Indian cinema. The news comes as she gears up for S.S. Rajamouli’s epic film Varanasi, marking her first major Indian film project after nearly six years abroad.
Priyanka, who earned international recognition with Hollywood projects over the past several years, is returning to Indian filmmaking with Varanasi, directed by acclaimed filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and co-starring Mahesh Babu. This comeback is being celebrated as both a professional milestone and a personal homecoming.
In her recent interviews, Priyanka shared how meaningful it is to shoot back in India after a long hiatus, bringing a blend of global experience and Indian cinematic energy. She also spoke candidly about how working in different film industries has shaped her approach to acting.
As excitement around Varanasi builds, questions naturally turned to two beloved franchises in which Priyanka previously played memorable roles:Don 3 — Following her acclaimed performance in Farhan Akhtar’s Don series with Shah Rukh Khan, fans have long speculated about her returning for the third installment.
Krrish 4 — There has also been buzz about the next chapter of the popular Krrish superhero franchise opposite Hrithik Roshan. When asked about these films, Priyanka remained coy, saying, “I don’t know if I can talk about either of them at all.” Her co-star Mahesh Babu added with a playful smile, “Then there’s something happening.” These remarks have fueled even more fan speculation about her possible involvement in both sequels.
Priyanka described her return to Indian cinema as full of “exciting times ahead,” and highlighted how much she missed aspects of Bollywood filmmaking — especially dancing, which she hasn’t done in her Hollywood roles. She said being on an Indian film set again and performing song and dance sequences is something she’s truly looking forward to.
While Varanasi — slated to be a significant Indian film event — is still some time away from release, Priyanka has another Hollywood project, The Bluff, set to stream from February 25, 2026. Her dual presence in both global and Indian cinema underscores her versatility and international appeal.
Whether Priyanka Chopra will officially return to Don or Krrish remains unconfirmed, but her comments and the reactions around them suggest that the future could hold exciting developments for fans of these franchises.
