What once appeared to be a friendly bond between Sara Ali Khan and social media personality Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, seems to have taken an ugly turn. A recent reel shared by Orry has triggered massive backlash online after he appeared to take a direct dig at Sara’s career.
The controversy erupted after Sara unfollowed Orry on Instagram. Soon after, Orry posted a reel inspired by content creator Amulya Rattan’s video, where she calls out a man’s lack of civic sense. While the reel itself seemed harmless at first glance, it was Orry’s reply in the comments section that grabbed attention and sparked outrage.

In the video, Orry was seen wearing a blue mesh top featuring a printed dotted outline of a bra. A user commented, “Genuine question: What exactly is that bra holding together?” Orry responded with a sharp remark, saying, “Sara Ali Khan’s hits.” The comment quickly went viral, with several users calling it “pathetic,” “cheap,” and “bullying behaviour.”

This is not the first time speculation around a fallout between the two has surfaced. Rumours of tension began earlier when Orry shared a reel titled “3 worst names,” where he mentioned Sara, Amrita, and Palak without surnames. Shortly after, both Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan unfollowed him on social media, fuelling talk of a fallout.
On the work front, Sara was last seen in Metro… In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu. The film featured an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma, though it failed to make a strong impact at the box office.
She will next be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh.
As the video continues to circulate, social media users have questioned Orry’s intent, with many pointing out that personal digs disguised as humour cross the line. Neither Sara Ali Khan nor Orry has issued an official statement so far, but the internet seems to have already made up its mind.
