A new viral video has reignited speculation around the personal lives of Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur, with social media users claiming the two actors secretly tied the knot in a private South Indian ceremony.
According to unverified reports doing the rounds online, Dhanush and Mrunal allegedly got married on January 22 in Chennai, in a close-knit family ceremony kept completely away from the media glare. The reports further claim that the wedding was attended only by family members and close friends, maintaining strict privacy.

What added fuel to the speculation was a short video clip that recently went viral, showing visuals resembling a traditional South Indian wedding. Fans were quick to assume that the clip offered a rare glimpse into the couple’s supposed private ceremony. The absence of official photographs or announcements only intensified curiosity and chatter.
Several posts also claimed that prominent stars from the South film industry were present to bless the couple, including Trisha Krishnan, Shruti Haasan, Anirudh Ravichander, Vijay, Dulquer Salmaan, and Ajith Kumar. However, none of these names or claims have been independently verified.
It is important to note that the viral video in question is AI-generated, a fact now acknowledged in multiple posts. As of now, neither Dhanush nor Mrunal Thakur has issued any statement confirming or denying marriage rumours.
Until an official announcement is made, the story remains firmly in the realm of online speculation, a reminder of how quickly AI visuals can blur the line between reality and fiction.
