Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday recently shared a relatable and humorous insight into their personal lives, revealing how their parents frequently call them asking for OTPs—something many can instantly connect with.
Opening up about the everyday struggle, Kartik joked, “My mom keeps calling me for that—‘Beta, OTP dena’,” he laughed. Sitting beside him, Ananya nodded in agreement and shared that her father, actor Chunky Panday, does the same.
“I feel like they don’t even wait for me to give the OTP. They need it instantly,” Ananya said. “I’ve had long conversations with them about how they need to fix this. And then they don’t even follow up later—like what happened to the money? Is it lost? It’s actually a big problem.”
Adding to the laughter, Kartik further shared, “Mom phone karke cut kar deti hai—‘OTP dena’—and then cut.”

During the interaction, Kartik was also asked whether dating is complicated. The actor had a refreshingly simple take on it. “No, dating is not complicated at all,” he said. “It’s easy—it depends on you. Easy feel hona hai ya complicated, woh aap par depend karta hai. It also depends on who you’re dating.”
He added, “Complications kisi bhi cheez mein ho sakti hain. Sabse easy cheez mein bhi complication ho sakta hai, aur difficult cheez mein complication na bhi ho.”
Meanwhile, Kartik and Ananya are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which is set to clash with Agastya Nanda’s Ikkis at the box office. Judging by the teaser, posters, and songs released so far, the Kartik–Ananya starrer promises to be a vibrant, colourful, and quirky romantic comedy—clearly catering to Gen Z audiences while also appealing to OG Bollywood rom-com lovers.
