Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are often admired for their love story, but now fans are also loving the way they talk about parenthood. In a recent interview, Alia opened up about Ranbir as a father to their daughter, Raha, and her words clearly show how deeply involved and caring he is.
Alia and Ranbir got married in 2022 after dating for nearly five years. The same year, they welcomed their daughter Raha starting a beautiful new chapter of their lives. Three years later Alia shared that Ranbir has surprised her in the most heartwarming way as a father.
Speaking to Esquire India, Alia said she always knew Ranbir would be a hands on dad because they had discussed it earlier. However, what surprised her was how emotionally expressive he became after Raha was born. Alia explained that Ranbir is usually shy and keeps his feelings to himself, but with Raha, everything changes. His face lights up, and he almost becomes a child himself when he is around her.
Alia also spoke about the early days of motherhood and how Ranbir supported her. She shared that he took time off work to be with her and their newborn daughter. Even when he returned to shooting, he would rush back home just to see Raha. According to Alia, the first thing he would do after coming back was run into the room to meet her.
She further revealed that Ranbir is always alert when it comes to Raha. He keeps checking the baby camera and is always ready whenever she wakes up or comes back home. Alia summed it up beautifully by saying that Ranbir’s love for Raha is very obvious and natural, he simply can’t hide it.
Talking about their relationship, Alia also mentioned that social media trolling and memes do not affect them. She said people judge relationships based on a few seconds of videos, while they have spent seven long years together, which matters much more.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love & War, also starring Vicky Kaushal. Fans are excited to see the real-life couple share screen space once again.
