Actor Hansika Motwani has been making headlines after finalising her divorce from businessman Sohael Khaturiya nearly three years after their wedding. Now, her former sister-in-law and actor Muskan Nancy James has shared a cryptic message on social media that many believe is indirectly linked to the recent developments.
On Friday, Muskan Nancy James posted a message on her Instagram Stories asking people not to involve her in someone else’s “life drama.” The post featured a photo of herself along with a note requesting social media platforms to keep her away from what she described as an “absolutely fake world.”

In the message, she wrote that she appreciates the support and understanding she has received from people, but urged them not to associate her with someone else’s personal matters. She also emphasised that she does not rely on paid public relations and that time will eventually reveal the truth.
“Kindly don’t associate me with someone’s absolutely fake world. I don’t have paid PR let time reveal the truth. Sab samay ka khel hai,” she wrote, adding the words “Peace, Love & Karma.”
Although she did not name anyone directly, the timing of the post quickly led to speculation online, with several users wondering if the remark was aimed at Hansika Motwani.

The two have reportedly not shared a cordial relationship for some time. In 2024, Muskan Nancy James filed an FIR against Hansika Motwani and her mother Jyoti Motwani, accusing them of cruelty and other offences.
The complaint included allegations under sections related to dowry harassment, physical assault and criminal intimidation under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Muskan also claimed that domestic abuse during her marriage to Hansika’s brother caused her to suffer Bell’s palsy.
According to the complaint, she alleged that there were demands for expensive gifts and financial support from her in-laws and that interference from Hansika and her mother created tension in her marriage.
Earlier, the Bombay High Court dismissed a petition filed by Hansika seeking to quash the FIR. She and her mother had also secured anticipatory bail from a Mumbai sessions court in the case.
Meanwhile, Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya were granted a divorce by a family court in Mumbai on March 11 after three years of marriage. The couple separated through mutual consent.
Hansika’s lawyer confirmed that the two had lived together for a brief period before realising they had differences in temperament, lifestyle and opinions that led to disagreements.
The actor reportedly chose not to claim any alimony or maintenance during the proceedings, stating that she wanted a peaceful and dignified closure to the marriage.
Hansika and Sohael had tied the knot in December 2022 in a grand ceremony at Mundota Fort in Jaipur. The wedding, along with the preparations leading up to it, was later featured in the reality series Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama, which streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
With both the divorce and the social media post drawing attention, the situation has once again put Hansika’ personal life in the spotlight.
