Akshaye Khanna has left Drishyam 3 after the success of Dhurandhar and this new has been speculating since quite a few days now. The producers of Drishyam have been lashing out at the star and claiming that the success has gone into his head. And now amid all the hullabaloo Ajay Devgn has shared his two cents over the whole fiasco.

In one of the recent interviews, Abhishek Phatak, the director of the Drishyam franchise, shares Akshaye Khanna‘s abrupt exit from the third part of the Drishyam and the actor, Ajay Devgn’s reaction to the whole issue.

Reportedly, the actor Akshaye Khanna left the film five days before the film was scheduled to proceed with the shooting. According to the director, during pre-production, many creative differences occurred, especially regarding Akshaye Khanna’s portrayal and appearance that clashed with his appearance in the previous two parts of Drishyam.

The main issue that occurred was regarding Akshaye Khanna’s wig. The actor insisted that he would wear the wig in the movie, but the director Phatak countered that his character in the previous two parts is bald and that the change would not be convincing to the audience. This disagreement was one of the main points that led to the issues. The director also mentions the movie’s male lead, Ajay Devgn’s reaction to Khanna’s exit, the director says that Devgn left everything and decisions in his hands,  “He left it to me completely.”
