Television actress Dipika Kakar, who was diagnosed with a tennis ball sized tumour in May 2025 and underwent a challenging 14 hour surgery, is once again facing a health setback. Months after her liver cancer treatment, Dipika has now developed a cyst in her stomach.

Her husband Shoaib Ibrahim shared the update in a new vlog on his YouTube channel, informing fans about her current condition. He revealed that Dipika has been experiencing discomfort and after medical consultation, doctors detected a stomach cyst. She will be admitted to the hospital next Tuesday for a minor procedure to treat the issue.

Shoaib assured viewers that while the situation is concerning, doctors have clarified that it is a cyst and not a confirmed cancer recurrence. However, given her medical history, the family is taking all precautions. Dipika had earlier undergone an intense 14 hour surgery to remove a large tumour and had been recovering steadily since then.

While many fans flooded social media with prayers and good wishes for her speedy recovery, some insensitive netizens mocked her deteriorating health. A section of users even made controversial remarks suggesting she should stop eating beef, sparking outrage among supporters who called out the unnecessary and hurtful comments.

Despite the negativity, Dipika and Shoaib have maintained a positive outlook. The couple thanked their well wishers for continuous support and assured everyone that they are following medical advice closely.
