Dhurandhar Box Office Day 28: Ranveer Singh’s Spy Thriller Storms Past ₹1,100 Cr Worldwide, Leaves Ikkis Far Behind

Even after 28 days in theatres, Ranveer Singh’s action-spy thriller Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable box office run.

Ranveer Singh’s action-spy blockbuster Dhurandhar is rewriting box office rules. Even after completing 28 days in theatres, the film continues to dominate with strong daily collections and consistent audience interest is an extremely rare feat in Hindi cinema.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh in a power-packed lead role, with Akshaye Khanna playing a crucial part. While most films witness a sharp decline by their fourth week, Dhurandhar is still running strong, defying all conventional trends.

By Day 28, the film has collected a staggering ₹739.82 crore in India alone. Impressively, it earned ₹15.75 crore on its 28th day, an outstanding figure for a movie nearing one month in theatres.

Audience response remains solid even in the fourth week. On Day 28, the overall Hindi occupancy stood at 35.43%, with

  • Morning shows: 14.31%
  • Afternoon shows: 48.54%
  • Evening shows: 49.11%
  • Night shows: 29.75%

These numbers clearly indicate that viewers are still flocking to theatres, particularly during afternoon and evening slots.

One of Dhurandhar’s biggest achievements is its consistency. The film has earned over ₹10 crore every single day since release, a rare milestone in modern Bollywood. Maintaining double-digit collections for 28 consecutive days highlights its massive word-of-mouth appeal and strong repeat viewership.

In comparison, Ikkis opened to decent numbers but failed to match Dhurandhar’s momentum. Reports suggest Ikkis earned around ₹7 crore on Day 1, nearly half of what Dhurandhar collected on its Day 28 alone. On January 1, 2026, Ikkis recorded a Hindi occupancy of 31.94%, noticeably lower than Dhurandhar’s sustained performance.

Beyond domestic success, Dhurandhar has also performed exceptionally well overseas. Including international earnings, the film has crossed ₹1,100 crore worldwide, officially becoming the biggest global Hindi film of 2025. The movie originally hit theatres on December 5, 2025.

With such unprecedented success, anticipation for Dhurandhar Part 2, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, is already sky-high. If the current trend is any indication, the franchise is poised to grow even bigger.
