Dhurandhar 2 is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. Even as weekdays set in the spy thriller continues to pull audiences to theatres in large numbers maintaining a strong grip over ticket sales across the country.
Led by Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar the film had already set the tone with a massive opening weekend. It collected an impressive ₹454 crore net in India within its first three days, including ₹43 crore from paid previews an unprecedented start for a Hindi film.
The momentum carried into the weekdays as well. On Monday (day 5), the film recorded a solid ₹65 crore net marking the highest Monday collection for any Indian film so far. With only a 43% drop from Sunday, the hold indicated strong audience interest.

On day 6 (Tuesday) Dhurandhar 2 continued its steady run. Despite being a working day, morning shows registered around 30% occupancy across key regions. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film earned ₹14.35 crore net by 2 PM, taking its total domestic collection to ₹533 crore in just six days.
With this the film has already surpassed the lifetime collection of Gadar 2, which stood at ₹525 crore. It has also gone past the Hindi version of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion setting a new benchmark for speed to the ₹500 crore mark in Hindi cinema.
Now, Dhurandhar 2 is eyeing the next milestones i.e. Pathaan (₹543 crore) and Animal (₹556 crore). Given its current pace, the film is expected to cross ₹600 crore soon, with trade experts predicting it could even touch ₹700 crore within the next week.
The film also features an ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. Released on March 19, the sequel builds on the massive success of its predecessor, which had already set high expectations.
Trade analysts remain optimistic about the film’s long term performance. With strong word of mouth and consistent occupancy Dhurandhar 2 is now being seen as a potential contender to challenge the all time box office record held by Dangal.
If the current trend continues, the film could rewrite several box office records in the days to come.
