Boman Irani turns global politics into a hilarious twist jokingly offering to host Donald Trump's 'Iran talks' in Dadar with…

Actor Boman Irani has once again proven why his humour lands effortlessly this time taking a playful dig at Donald Trump amid ongoing tensions in West Asia. As global headlines remain dominated by the complex dynamics between the United States, Israel and Iran, Boman chose satire over seriousness and the internet can’t get enough of it.

In a video shared on Instagram, Boman cheekily addressed reports of Trump expressing interest in engaging with “Iranians” for peace talks. Turning the wordplay into a punchline, the actor suggested that the “Iranis” of Bollywood himself, Smriti Irani, and veteran actress Aruna Irani are ready to step in as mediators.

So, it’s going viral that Mr Donald Trump wants to speak to the Iranis, Boman says in the clip maintaining a straight face before leaning into the joke. “I am ready to do anything for peace.”

But his version of diplomacy comes with a distinctly Mumbai twist. Refusing to travel to Washington, Boman instead invites Trump and his delegation to the iconic Dadar Parsi Colony. “We’ll feed them dhansak, custard and other food” he says before delivering the line that truly seals the joke, “If they bring along a big gas cylinder, I think it’ll make life very smooth for all of us.”

The subtle nod to everyday urban struggles blended with global politics, struck a chord online. The video quickly gained traction with both fans and celebrities applauding his comic timing.

Among those reacting were Sameera Reddy, who called it “epic” and actor Siddharth, who quipped, “Bigly of you sir” referencing Trump’s own speaking style. Farhan Akhtar and musician Ricky Kej also joined in, reacting with laughter.

The comments section turned into a mini comedy club of its own. Actor Suzanne Bernert praised Boman’s wit while food writer Kunal Vijayakar joked about joining the “talks” not for diplomacy but for the dhansak and custard. Even Allu Sneha Reddy and actress Priyamani showed their appreciation by liking the post.

At a time when geopolitical developments often feel heavy and distant, Boman’s light hearted take offered a moment of relief reminding audiences of the power of humour in cutting through tension without dismissing it.

On the professional front Boman Irani continues to stay busy. After making his directorial debut with The Mehta Boys he has been juggling multiple acting projects. He was recently seen in The Raja Saab alongside Prabhas and has upcoming films like Raja Shivaji with Riteish Deshmukh and Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 in the pipeline.

For now, though it’s his comic timing not his filmography that’s winning headlines
