Television celebrity Karan Kundrra has recently come out to share what he describes as a historic moment in his career the negotiation of what he says is the highest pay cheque ever to be offered to a contestant on Bigg Boss 15.

In an open and honest interview with Elvish Yadav, Karan indicated that becoming a participant at Bigg Boss was not a spontaneous choice. Actually, the makers had been contacting him almost four or five years. Never, however, did he feel the proper time. Only after the pandemic when the work processes changed and the industry decelerated, he reevaluated the chance.

Karan acknowledged that he was not very sure at first; he even joked that he had a short temper and that he was not sure he would fit in a high-pressure reality show. However, at a time when negotiations got serious, he settled on quoting a price that actually depicted his market value and popularity. Surprisingly, the makers consented.

He was subsequently informed that no other contestant had ever demanded such amount of money before in his life, and this fact, he claims, made him feel that he has made history.He further added that his knowledge of production and behind-the-scenes business got him to negotiate with confidence. After serving not only as an actor but also having been very close to production teams, he knew how the system worked, and what he could legitimately expect.

Karan was one of the hottest contestants of the season. The couple of Tejasswi Prakash and him grew inside the house becoming fan-favourite couple TejRan. Although Tejasswi claimed the trophy, the experience he got in the show made Karan extremely popular.

To Karan, Bigg Boss 15 was not a reality program, but an investment in her career, both emotionally and financially.
