Talking about her return to Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain 2, Shilpa shared that she did not take much time to say yes to the show. She admitted that the speculation around her not getting work is true and revealed that the offers she receives often do not match her expectations.

Shilpa explained that she prefers staying at home rather than taking up roles she considers meaningless. “Aise-aise faltu kaamon ke offers aate hain, toh nahi karna hai. Isse achha hai ghar pe baithna,” she said, stressing that she values self-respect and quality work over just staying visible on screen.

“Paisa jitna bhi kamao, end of the day, kam padta hi hai,” she remarked, highlighting the realities many actors face even after achieving major success.
