Indian rapper and music producer Badshah recently opened up about one of his most talked-about luxury purchases a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II worth over ₹12 crore admitting that the decision was largely impulsive and that the emotional high from owning it lasted only about 10-15 minutes.
The revelation came during a candid conversation with Curly Tales, where Badshah discussed his taste for high-end cars and other luxury items. Asked about his decision to buy the exclusive SUV, the rapper said, “Jaldi se decide kar liya ki aaj lena hai (I decided quickly that I will buy it today). Badshah wali feeling hai,” underscoring the spontaneous nature of the purchase.
Despite the massive investment — with the on-road price in Mumbai for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge Series II reported around ₹12.45 crore — Badshah revealed that the intense thrill of owning such a prestigious vehicle faded surprisingly quickly. “10-15 minute raha tha uska high, and then you are like, ‘What next?’” he said, describing how fleeting the excitement was after the purchase.
Badshah, known for chart-topping hits like Garmi, Kar Gayi Chull and Soulmate, explained that he enjoys owning the “best” in terms of technology and luxury — from premium cars to high-end watches. “Mera mann karta hai ki jo bhi best hai technologically wo mere paas ho,” he added during the interview, reflecting his appreciation for innovation and craftsmanship.
His garage, apart from the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, includes several other high-end vehicles such as a Lamborghini Urus and an Audi Q8, showcasing his affinity for premium automobiles.
While the rapper openly admits to impulsive decisions when it comes to luxury items, Badshah also emphasised that material possessions are part of his lifestyle but not the sole focus of his life. In previous discussions, he has underlined that relationships and experiences still hold greater value than material acquisitions, indicating a balanced perspective on life and success.
Last year’s Rolls-Royce purchase made headlines not only because of its staggering price tag but also because Badshah became the first India-born musician to own the ultra-luxury SUV, joining a select group of Indian celebrities and business leaders who possess this elite vehicle, including Mukesh Ambani, Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn.
