Bollywood actor Sonal Chauhan has reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after finding herself stranded in Dubai due to flight disruptions triggered by the intensifying conflict between the United States and Iran.

The sudden escalation in hostilities across the Middle East has led to widespread airspace restrictions, resulting in multiple flight cancellations and diversions across the Gulf region. Dubai, one of the world’s busiest international transit hubs, has been significantly affected, leaving thousands of passengers uncertain about their travel plans.

Chauhan, who was in Dubai at the time tensions spiked, took to social media to share her situation. In her message, she stated that there was “no clear way to return” to India as scheduled flights had been suspended without confirmed alternatives. She appealed directly to the Prime Minister and concerned authorities for assistance in arranging a safe journey home.

The actress, best known for her role in the film Jannat, also tagged official government handles, requesting guidance and support. Her post quickly gained attention online, with fans expressing concern and urging authorities to intervene swiftly.

Chauhan is reportedly among several Indian nationals impacted by the sudden travel disruption. Olympic medalist PV Sindhu was also said to be facing delays due to flight cancellations in the region. With airspace closures affecting key routes, passengers have been left waiting at airports for further updates from airlines and aviation officials.

Major Indian carriers such as Air India and IndiGo have issued advisories stating that they are closely monitoring the geopolitical developments and coordinating with aviation authorities. However, no definitive timeline has been provided for the full restoration of normal flight operations.

For now, uncertainty looms over international travel in the region, with many awaiting official announcements that could determine when regular flight services will resume.
