After months of anticipation, the official title of the much-awaited collaboration between Allu Arjun and director Atlee has finally been revealed. Previously known as AA22 x A6, the film is now titled Raaka. The announcement was made on Wednesday to mark Allu Arjun’s birthday, turning the occasion into a celebration for fans.
Production banner Sun Pictures unveiled the title poster at 11 AM, as promised earlier. The poster instantly grabbed attention for presenting Allu Arjun in a striking new avatar. The actor appears completely bald, with kohl-lined eyes and an intense stare directed at the camera. His look is further enhanced by animal-like claws and unique markings on his forehead resembling Viking-style tattoos. Fans quickly reacted online, calling the transformation “jaw-dropping.”
Despite the excitement around the look, the makers have kept most details about the film under wraps. Apart from Deepika Padukone being part of the project, no other casting announcements have been made. The storyline and even the genre of the film remain a mystery, adding to the intrigue.
A day before the title reveal, the team teased audiences with an image featuring the claw of a furry creature, hinting at a unique concept. Earlier, a behind-the-scenes video showed the team collaborating with international VFX experts in Los Angeles. Technicians who have worked on major Hollywood films like Iron Man 2 and Transformers reportedly praised the script as something entirely new.
Actor Ranveer Singh has also hinted at the film’s ambition, stating that Atlee is creating a cinematic experience unlike anything seen before in Indian cinema.With its grand scale and intriguing first look, Raaka is already building strong buzz ahead of its planned 2027 release.
