When Alia Bhatt stepped into Milan Fashion Week for Gucci’s latest runway show it wasn’t just another front row appearance. The actor was there for the much awaited debut of the brand’s new creative director, Demna Gvasalia and the energy by her own admission was “insane.”

Sharing moments from the evening on social media, Alia looked visibly thrilled as she described the atmosphere inside the venue. She spoke about the strong performance element in the show and the striking silhouettes that walked the runway. From sharply tailored menswear to buttery soft pants she instantly wanted in her own wardrobe the collection clearly left an impression on her. One of the biggest highlights for her was seeing supermodel Kate Moss close the show a moment she called “unreal.”

Alia also briefly met Demna during the event. Though it was just a short exchange she told him how the entire room felt still as the show unfolded. His response that fashion should have that kind of impact stayed with her. It was a small interaction but one that seemed meaningful

IIn a lighter moment Alia joked that her oversized sunglasses made her almost unrecognisable. Even members of the Gucci team reportedly did a double take before realising it was her. The bold eyewear, paired with an oversized black leather coat pointed toe heels and a classic black Gucci bag gave her look a dramatic edge that matched the mood of the collection.

Appointed as Gucci’s first Indian global ambassador in May 2025, Alia continues to strengthen her presence on international fashion platforms. Her appearance at this show wasn’t just about sitting in the front row it felt like she was witnessing a defining moment in the brand’s new chapter, and enjoying every second of it.
