Bollywood star Akshay Kumar recently shared that his son Aarav Kumar has no plans to enter the film industry and is instead building a career in fashion.

Speaking in a podcast, Akshay said, “We are both very alike. He is into health, and so am I. He is a tall boy and very focused. He loves working. But he doesn’t want to join films. He doesn’t have any such plan. He wants to be in fashion.”

He further revealed that Aarav is gaining hands-on experience and living independently. “Voh bechara aaj bhi ₹4500 ki naukri kar raha hai. Acchi baat hai, kyun nahi?” Akshay said, adding that his son travels to villages to learn about traditional prints and textiles.

Aarav, born in 2002 to Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, moved abroad at a young age for studies and is currently based in London. Unlike many star kids, he prefers to stay away from the limelight and maintain a low profile.

Akshay expressed pride in his son’s grounded approach, adding that he encourages him to follow his own path while staying true to his values.

On the work front, Akshay is currently seen in Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. He will next appear in Welcome To The Jungle, featuring an ensemble cast including Jackie Shroff and Raveena Tandon.
