In a business that is commonly characterized by glamour and massive advertisements, Aamir Khan opted to be simple when he recently visited the hometown of Arijit Singh in Murshidabad. The actor was travelling there on working on the title song of his next movie Ek Din, which included Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. What occurred during the visit though was much more personal as opposed to professional.

Now a backstage video of the trip has been leaked online where Aamir is misting emotional moments with Arijit. During a single candid interview, the actor pleasantly asked the singer not to give up on playback singing. He spoke with apparent sincerity of the hardships it would be to the industry should Arijit decide to abandon lending his voice to films. The emotional appeal immediately touched fans who were filled with social media with appreciation of both artists.

Aamir was observed riding a scooty up and down the silent Murshidabad streets with a smile on his face like a tourist absorbed in the beauty of a small town. They also had moments of flying kites, chess and home cooked meal with Aamir sitting joyfully on the floor with the family of Arijit. The lack of airy stars also added attraction to the pictures.

Arijit had already hinted at reducing its pace on new playback engagements to venture into music on its own and nurture upcoming talent. Nevertheless, he kept his promise to Ek Din and this was a special cooperation.
