Ranveer Singh is once again grabbing attention for his intense dedication to his craft. After setting a high benchmark with his portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat, the actor has now revealed that his role in Dhurandhar pushed him even further.

According to his business partner Nikunj Biyani, Ranveer admitted that playing Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, was far more demanding than Khilji. Recalling their conversation, he shared, “This character has been way more challenging for me, as an artist; it has taken so much more out of me. I have had to go deep and give it 300 percent; it has been very demanding.”

Ranveer’s experience with Khilji had already been intense. In earlier interviews, he spoke about isolating himself for weeks to prepare for the role, immersing deeply into the mindset of the ruthless ruler. He had admitted that the process took him to a “dark place,” requiring him to tap into emotions he had long buried.

However, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, seems to have surpassed even that experience. The character of Hamza demanded a deeper emotional dive, making the process more exhausting both mentally and physically.

Beyond acting, Ranveer’s business partner also highlighted another side of the star—his sharp creative instincts and attention to detail. Whether it’s films or brand work, the actor is known to be deeply involved, often reviewing even the smallest aspects with precision.

With Dhurandhar already generating buzz, Ranveer’s revelations have only heightened expectations, promising a performance that could redefine his career once again.
