The friendship between the largest stars of Bollywood was in full force when Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh had a heart-to-heart talk that has been trending on social media. The two superstars were present in the 16th birthday party of Mishka Kamboj, daughter of a leading businessman and BJP leader Mohit Kamboj Bharatiya and Aksha Kamboj in Mumbai.
In a video that is going viral on Instagram and X (previously Twitter), Ranveer Singh is shown talking to guests, such as Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The scene that attracted the attention of all is when Shah Rukh Khan goes up to the group. With a simple gesture of absolute love, “King Khan” taps Ranveer on the shoulder and then lovingly cups and pats his cheek. Although the sound is muted, Ranveer is visible nodding and smiling at the old veteran star with a gracious thanks.
The fans believe that Shah Rukh was congratulating Ranveer on his record-breaking box-office performance. The most recent movie of Ranveer, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has rocked the world box office, reaching ₹1600 crore just a few weeks after its release in March 19. This is after the huge success of the original Dhurandhar film that made a collection in excess of ₹1300 crore in late 2025.
The friendship was not confined to the actors, Pooja Dadlani, the manager of Shah Rukh was also caught on camera cuddling Ranveer. Users of social media have been fast to applaud the absence of competition among the stars with one fan commenting, they are like family, and others rejoiced in the mentor-protege feel of the interaction.
With Ranveer in the midst of the Dhurandhar-franchise peak and Shah Rukh Khan preparing his much-hyped movie King, directed by Siddharth Anand, with a Christmas 2026 release date, a major collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan.
