Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have officially begun a new chapter in their lives, tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur on February 26. The wedding was a close knit affair with only family and close friends in attendance, but the celebrations leading up to it were rich in tradition and emotion.
Their pre-wedding festivities featured rituals like the pelli koduku and pelli kuturu ceremonies, along with vibrant sangeet and haldi functions. Recently surfaced pictures have offered fans a glimpse into these special moments, highlighting the warmth shared between the two families.
Photos shared by Shilpa Venepally showcase candid scenes from the celebrations. In one set, Rashmika looks radiant in a brown saree during her pelli kuturu ceremony, smiling as she interacts with loved ones. Other images show her in relaxed dark silk pyjamas, enjoying casual conversations with family members.
Some of the most heartwarming moments feature Vijay’s mother, Madhavi Deverakonda, affectionately known as Rashmika’s attagaru. During the mehendi ceremony, Madhavi is seen gifting Rashmika heirloom gold bangles, a gesture symbolising love and acceptance. Another photo captures them sharing a joyful moment together.
The haldi ceremony pictures reflect the fun-filled spirit of the celebrations. Meanwhile, Vijay’s pelli koduku ritual shows him dressed in traditional attire, posing with family, including his brother Anand Deverakonda.
