Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has finally reacted to the massive success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and his words have only added to the growing excitement around the film. After watching the sequel, Aamir took to social media to congratulate director Aditya Dhar and the entire cast for their hard work and vision.

Sharing the film’s poster, Aamir praised the team, saying their “passion, vision and hard work” truly connected with audiences. He also tagged actors Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in his post.

Interestingly, Aamir had earlier admitted that he hadn’t watched the film yet. Speaking at the International Film Festival of Delhi 2026, where his film Sitaare Zameen Par was screened, he said he had only heard positive reviews about both parts of the franchise. Known for his love of reading over watching films, Aamir even mentioned in an interview that he rarely watches movies in his free time making his decision to watch Dhurandhar 2 even more special.

Meanwhile, the film continues to perform strongly at the box office. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller opened to a great response and has only grown bigger with time. On its 12th day, the film collected around ₹17.80 crore in India. Its second weekend alone brought in over ₹170 crore domestically, taking its India net total close to ₹937 crore. Globally, the film has crossed ₹1,490 crore and is now aiming for the ₹1,500 crore mark.

Aamir Khan’s appreciation joins a long list of celebrities who have praised the film, including Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Allu Arjun, and Rajinikanth. With strong word of mouth and continued audience support, the film shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
