The Romance of Sonakshi Sinha & Zaheer Iqbal
In 2016, Sonakshi and Zaheer met at an event hosted by Salman Khan – a man who has been a mentor to them both since their careers began. Initially just friends, they soon began to deepen their bond through time spent together both socially and professionally. By 2017, rumblings of a relationship could be heard but remained under wraps for the most part.
As time passed, their relationship became more widely known through many outings together in public, vacations together, and some social media posts creating curiosity as to whether or not they were indeed in a relationship – even though it was not confirmed to the public for a very long time. Their chemistry was even more evident after working together on Double XL, where you could see the chemistry in every frame.
Their relationship has evolved into one defined by fun and support for one another, with both sharing many happy and candid moments on social media. The two have been together and in a committed partnership for almost seven years, and were married in 2024 under the Special Marriage Act of India – proof of their great love and mutual respect for one another.
