As a result, many people have begun exploring alternative cooking options, including induction cooktops and other electric appliances. Retailers have also reported an increase in demand for such products in recent days, indicating a shift in consumer behaviour amid uncertainty over LPG supply.
Authorities have taken steps to manage distribution and prevent issues such as hoarding and black marketing. However, concerns remain among the public, especially in densely populated urban areas where LPG is the primary cooking fuel.
Akshay Kumar’s remarks highlight a precautionary approach being adopted even by those who have not yet experienced shortages directly. His statement reflects a wider trend of households preparing backup solutions to avoid disruption in daily routines.
The LPG situation continues to be monitored, and officials are working to ensure stable supply and address public concerns as they arise.
