Former Bigg Boss contestant Somi Khan recently voiced her disappointment over the trailer of Dhurandhar 2. The reality TV personality shared a video on Instagram criticising the film and expressing concern about the way religion appeared to be used in the narrative.

In the video, Somi said she felt disappointed after watching the trailer and stated that in a country as diverse as India, playing with religious sentiments for entertainment can be irresponsible. She also mentioned actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, saying celebrities with massive influence should remember the responsibility that comes with their popularity.

According to Somi, films should aim to unite people rather than create divisions. Her video quickly began circulating across social media platforms, sparking debate among fans and viewers.

However, shortly after the video started gaining attention online, Somi Khan deleted the post from her Instagram account. While the reason behind removing the video remains unclear, clips of her statement continue to circulate on social media.

The reaction to her comments has been mixed. While some users agreed with her concerns, others defended the film and argued that judging a movie based only on its trailer may be premature.

Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, has already generated significant buzz following the release of its trailer. With discussions around the film intensifying online, Somi Khan’s remarks and the subsequent deletion of her video have added another layer to the ongoing conversation.
