Divya Agarwal recently addressed rumours about her personal life and revealed that she is currently living separately from her husband Apurva Padgaonkar. Her statement came after a controversy during the reality show The 50, where a fellow contestant made personal remarks about her marriage.

During the show, another participant accused Divya of being a “gold digger” and also claimed that she does not live with her husband despite being married. The comment quickly caught public attention and led to discussions about her relationship.

After leaving the show, Divya decided to respond to the accusations and clarify the situation. She confirmed that she and Apurva are indeed living in different places at the moment, but explained that the reason is mainly practical. According to her, both of them stay closer to their workplaces, which makes daily life easier for each of them. Despite living separately, she said their relationship remains strong and they still meet often.

Divya also reacted strongly to the “gold digger” label. She rejected the accusation and said people only know half the story about her life. In a light-hearted response, she even joked that if people want to call her something, she would rather call herself a “diamond digger,” praising her husband and saying he is like a diamond in her life.

She also spoke about how supportive Apurva has been. After she was eliminated from the reality show, he comforted her and tried to cheer her up. According to Divya, he encouraged her and reminded her that winning every competition is not necessary.

Divya and Apurva got married in February 2024 in a traditional ceremony in Mumbai. Over time, their personal life has occasionally become a topic of public speculation, especially after some of her wedding posts were removed from social media. However, Divya explained earlier that she simply prefers to keep her personal life private and focus on her work online.

Through her recent statements, Divya made it clear that her marriage is still intact and that the rumours surrounding her relationship should not be misunderstood. She also emphasised that people should avoid making quick judgments based on incomplete information.
