The wedding celebrations of Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok unfolded in Mumbai as an intimate yet elegant affair that beautifully blended cultural heritage with refined design. Planned over five months, the celebrations were carefully conceptualised to honour tradition while maintaining a sense of intimacy. The focus was on creating meaningful experiences rather than overwhelming extravagance. Through detailed mood boarding, spatial storytelling, curated guest journeys and meticulous logistical planning, the team created two distinct yet seamlessly connected events that reflected the couple’s vision.
The festivities began on March 3, 2026, with a vibrant Punjabi Mehendi celebration titled SaanJ at Gallops, Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Designed as a colourful sundowner, the venue transformed into a lively carnival inspired space filled with bold colours, rich textures and energetic performances. Guests were welcomed into an immersive Mehendi Bazaar gifting experience where personalised tote bags could be curated with bangles, bindis, artisanal bath salts, lip balms, authentic mukhwas and aam papad sourced from Amritsar.
A lush floral swing installation became the central highlight of the venue while live music and energetic performances filled the celebration with rhythm and joy. The atmosphere encouraged guests to actively participate in the festivities, making the event both lively and deeply rooted in tradition.
On the morning of March 5, 2026, the couple tied the knot at The St Regis Mumbai in a serene ceremony themed SaaJ. The wedding design followed a language of subtle grandeur with a breathtaking 270 degree centre mandap installation. The decor featured cloud like layers of baby’s breath flowers paired with soft off whites, blush pinks, fresh greens and muted gold accents, creating a calm and dreamlike setting for the sacred rituals.
Adding emotional depth to the ceremony were live performances by celebrated singers Harshdeep Kaur and Shankar Mahadevan. Harshdeep accompanied the bride’s entry while Shankar Mahadevan performed the traditional Mangalashtak, elevating the spiritual essence of the wedding.
After the rituals, guests were invited to a traditional Maharashtrian sit down Pangat meal. Coordinating the multi hall dining experience required careful logistical planning and precise execution, reflecting the planning team’s attention to detail and commitment to seamless hospitality.
To ensure privacy and security for the guests, a personalised QR code entry system was introduced. This discreet system helped maintain the intimate nature of the celebration despite the presence of several high profile guests.
Speaking about the arrangements, Anjali Tendulkar expressed her appreciation saying everything was perfectly managed by Eternity by Trinity. Sachin Tendulkar also thanked the team for ensuring that the celebrations went smoothly.
