Netflix’s popular courtroom comedy Maamla Legal Hai is officially returning with its much awaited second season. The streaming platform has announced that Season 2 will premiere on April 3, bringing back the quirky chaos of the Patparganj District Court along with its much loved characters.

After winning audiences with its unique blend of satire and everyday courtroom drama, the new season promises sharper humour, stranger cases and even more madness inside the legal corridors.

Produced by Posham Pa Pictures, the series is led by showrunner Sameer Saxena and directed by Rahul Pandey. The world and characters of the show were originally created by Saurabh Khanna and Kunal Aneja, with the latest season written by Syed Shadan, Mohak Aneja and Tatsat Pandey, under the leadership of Kunal.

Actor Ravi Kishan, who plays the memorable V D Tyagi, expressed his excitement about returning to the courtroom. He said he cannot believe he is actually looking forward to going to court again and thanked audiences for the love showered on the first season.

Kishan shared that in the new season Tyagi is eager to prove himself as a judge but the journey is far from easy. According to him every case in the court is serious but the way they handle it is completely unconventional. He also promised that the madness of Patparganj District Court will be even bigger this time.

Season 2 will continue the hilarious journeys of several fan favourite characters. Viewers will once again see Sujata Didi, Ananya Shroff, and the witty Vishwas Pandey, whose clever one liners and unusual legal solutions became a highlight of the first season.

The new season also brings fresh faces to the courtroom with Kusha Kapila and Dinesh Lal Yadav joining the cast. They will appear alongside returning actors Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, Anant Joshi, and Anjum Batra.

Known for mixing satire with relatable everyday situations, Maamla Legal Hai quickly became a favourite among audiences for its humorous take on India’s legal system. With new cases, unpredictable courtroom battles and plenty of comedic twists, Season 2 promises another entertaining ride.
