Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to begin a new chapter as they prepare to get married in Udaipur on February 26. With pre-wedding festivities already underway, excitement among fans has reached an all-time high.
The much-awaited wedding muhurtam has now been revealed. The couple will take their vows at 8 AM in an intimate yet grand ceremony attended by close family members and friends. The wedding will beautifully blend Telugu and Kodava traditions, honouring both Vijay and Rashmika’s cultural roots.
The celebrations began on February 25, with glimpses surfacing online. Fans were treated to visuals of thoughtfully curated arrangements, including the creatively named “Virosh Premier League.” The event featured customised field setups, specially designed popcorn buckets and playful pool games for guests, adding a fun and personalised touch to the festivities.

The sangeet ceremony reportedly turned emotional, as the venue was decorated with framed photographs capturing different phases of Vijay and Rashmika’s journey together. The décor reflected their love story, creating a nostalgic and heartwarming atmosphere for everyone present.
Haldi and mehendi ceremonies were scheduled at the venue with only their inner circle in attendance. Sources suggest the functions were filled with music, colours and heartfelt moments, making the lead-up to the wedding unforgettable.
Several close friends from the industry have reached Udaipur to be part of the celebrations. Among those present are filmmaker-actor Tharun Bhascker, director-actor Rahul Ravindran, actresses Eesha Rebba and Ashika Ranganath, and fashion stylist Shravya Varma. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga also arrived at the venue ahead of the ceremony. Priests have been overseeing the rituals from the traditional pre-wedding functions to the main ceremony.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi was unable to attend due to official commitments in Dubai, he reportedly sent a heartfelt letter to Vijay’s parents, Govardhan Rao and Madhavi Deverakonda, extending his blessings. In his message, he wished the couple a beautiful journey ahead, describing marriage as a script written by destiny and love rather than by dialogue.
The love story of “Virosh” has been years in the making. Long before they confirmed their relationship, fans had already coined the nickname after watching their chemistry in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. The couple reportedly exchanged rings in a private ceremony in Hyderabad last October, attended only by close family. Recently, they made their relationship official by announcing “the wedding of Virosh” on social media — a heartfelt tribute to the name given by their fans.
