In the monologue, Priyanka’s character delivers an intense speech that highlights themes of revenge, power, and destiny — elements that have traditionally defined the Naagin universe. While the scene was crafted to showcase the emotional depth and authority of her role, many viewers felt that the dialogue delivery lacked the impact expected from a lead in such an established franchise.

Social media users were quick to share their opinions, with some labelling the performance as “over-the-top” and others suggesting that it failed to match the standards set by previous seasons. A section of fans even went on to say that the scene did not carry the same dramatic weight that earlier protagonists had brought to the screen.

Over the years, the Naagin franchise has gained a loyal fan base for its dramatic storytelling and memorable performances by its lead actors. Each new season comes with heightened expectations, especially when a fresh face steps into a role associated with such a widely recognised television legacy. As a result, comparisons between Priyanka’s portrayal and past leads began circulating online soon after the clip was released.

Despite the criticism, several supporters have come forward in defence of the actor, pointing out that judging an entire performance based on a short monologue may be premature. They believe that her character’s journey in the show could offer more layers and opportunities to shine as the story unfolds.

As anticipation builds for the upcoming season, it remains to be seen how audiences respond to Priyanka’s full-fledged performance once Naagin 7 officially premieres. For now, the viral monologue has certainly succeeded in getting viewers talking and stirring curiosity around what the new chapter of the beloved supernatural saga has in store.
