Although almost ten years of Hollywood experience, Priyanka Chopra Jonas claims that she is yet to feel like she fully arrived there, and she is not afraid to tell it. Indeed, in a recent interview, the world presence questioned herself on her status in the current world today, admitting that she feels confident about her capability, but is not in a position to compare success to a certain name or position.

According to Priyanka, the first time she entered Hollywood, she never entered the sets feeling inferior or unsure about herself simply because she was entering into a totally different film industry. Rather, she was aware of her value, her work and what she was capable of bringing to it, but she also realised that an overnight success in a new cultural territory is unattainable. She mentioned that she might have had less opportunities or been less successful than some of her peers but that does not mean that she was no longer confident in her professional skills.

Priyanka did not say that she has made it but she said that the journey continues. She is in awe of those who are putting brilliant work in her circles and yet she still hopes to create a body of work she can be really proud of. This meekness and self-realization is because she believes in everlasting development as opposed to dwelling on her past successes.

The only thing that has changed in her throughout the years is her concept of success and legacy. Balance is something that she now highly appreciates today, as she can challenge herself to be creative and to spend quality time with her family. To Priyanka, this combination of personal happiness and professional fulfilment is the actual triumph and not just the concept of becoming a part of Hollywood.
