Love was clearly in the air on Valentine’s Day, but for actor Vijay Varma, it also brought a wave of fresh rumours. Months after reports of his breakup with Tamannaah Bhatia surfaced, Vijay surprised fans with a mysterious Instagram Story that quickly became the talk of social media.

On February 14, Vijay shared a picture of a man holding a woman’s hand. The photo was carefully framed so that the woman’s face was not visible, which made fans even more curious. What added fuel to the fire was his caption: “Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever,” along with a red heart and rainbow emoji.

He also tagged an Instagram handle, @khushi_ahuja, which immediately sent fans into detective mode. Many people assumed that Vijay had found love again and was ready to make it public. Social media was soon filled with speculation about who the mystery woman could be.

However, things took a funny turn when people checked the tagged account closely. It turned out to be a prank profile. The posts on the account together formed the sentence, “C***** banaya tumko,” meaning “made a fool of you.” It became clear that Vijay’s Valentine’s Day post was just a playful joke, leaving fans both surprised and amused.

Vijay’s personal life has often made headlines, especially after his two-year relationship with Tamannaah Bhatia, which reportedly began during the shoot of Lust Stories 2. Their breakup in early 2025 was said to be mutual and respectful. Reports suggested that constant public attention and media pressure played a big role in their decision. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Vijay spoke about the challenges of being in a public relationship. He shared that he would have preferred silence around his personal life, but once you are in the spotlight, it is difficult to control the conversation.

He was also earlier linked with his Gustaakh Ishq co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh. However, she denied the rumours at an event, clearly stating that there was no one special in her life.On the work front, Vijay was last seen in Gustaakh Ishq, directed by Vibhu Puri. The film also featured talented actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Natasha Rastogi, and Jaya Bhattacharya.

While his Valentine’s Day post may have been a prank, it once again showed how quickly rumours can spread in the age of social media. For now, fans will have to wait and see what’s next in Vijay Varma’s personal and professional journey.
